Description

Our meeting point is set for 9 am, right in front of Camí del Ter Vell located on the Passeig Marítim in Estartit, where a short briefing on kayak usage will take place.

We will set off from Ter Vell Beach, embarking on an exhilarating kayaking excursion; the Medes Islands are just a short 20-minute paddle away! Throughout our journey, the guide will share intriguing insights about this archipelago. For example, did you know that it served as a sanctuary for pirates?

As we navigate through the waters, we’ll discover facts about the geological features of the Medas Islands, which include Meda Gran, Meda Petita, and other smaller isles like the Tascons. Once we reach our destination, we will take a moment to unwind with a brief stop for a refreshing swim in this picturesque natural setting along the Costa Brava.

Following our rest, we will head back to our kayaks and return to Estartit, continuing our exploration of the Iles Medes Nature Reserve, a site recognized as a Protected National Nature Park since 2010.

Our adventure concludes as we arrive back at the starting point around 11:30 am.
