At the time of booking, you can select from the available tour choices. Both options commence at 8:30 am and provide hotel pickup from Sagres.

Half-Day Tour (4.5 hours)

Once collected from your accommodation, this journey begins through the inland region of the Algarve. Our 4x4 vehicle will navigate the stunning landscapes of the Monchique mountains and Bravura Lake, allowing you to admire the vibrant local flora and fauna along with some charming villages.

From Sagres, we will head towards the vicinity of Bravura Lake, where a 15-minute stroll along the lakeshore leads to an ideal spot for swimming.

After a refreshing dip, we’ll proceed to the Serra de Monchique, making a noteworthy stop at an abandoned village nestled within the mountains. Following this, the group will visit another mountainous area to witness a magnificent waterfall that cascades 60 meters!

Lastly, we’ll ascend to the pinnacle of the Monchique mountains, where spectacular views of the Algarve unfold before you.

Full-Day Tour (8 hours)

This extended tour incorporates all elements of the half-day itinerary, but also includes a visit to Monchique for a delightful lunch at a local eatery. Here, you'll savor a carefully prepared meal featuring regional specialties.

Once you’ve filled your appetite, we will explore the quaint village, taking in its unique corners. To conclude the adventure, we will visit the ruins of the convent of Monchique, delving into the legends and hidden stories tied to this historical location. Our tour will wrap up with stunning views from this perfect observation point.
