Your adventure begins at Avenida Presidente Getúlio Vargas in Nova Petrópolis, where we will meet at the designated time. From there, a short transfer will take us to the launch point of this bike journey through Nove Colônias. Are you ready to embark?

The route stretches over 28 kilometers (17 miles) with an elevation gain of 600 meters (1,968 feet). Expect to traverse dirt paths, taking in the stunning views that surround this area – an ideal journey for those who appreciate nature.

Our first highlight will be a remarkable millennium-old pine tree that towers at 45 meters (147 feet). Unsurprisingly, this ancient tree is recognized as one of the city's most significant natural wonders, estimated to be 1,300 years old!

The ride continues as we make our way to the church located in Plaza Theodor Amstad. This site is historically important, as it's referred to as the birthplace of Brazilian cooperativism, having witnessed the inception of the first line of credit in Latin America in 1902.

Next, we will cycle toward Nove Colônias, following unpaved tracks. After approximately 15 kilometers (9.3 miles), we'll arrive at Casa Sander winery, where we will pause to enjoy a delightful picnic featuring refreshing beverages and toast with jam amid picturesque vineyards and blueberry fields.

Following our picnic, the itinerary includes a visit to a cheese factory and some historic homes in this charming rural community. To wrap up the experience, we will choose an alternate route back to the starting point, allowing for more opportunities to appreciate the breathtaking scenery of southern Brazil.

The entire experience wraps up after around four hours of engaging activities.
