Entry Requirements for Ons Island
As a protected area, Ons Island has a visitor quota, and securing authorization from the Xunta de Galicia is necessary to visit.
During the peak season (from May 15 to September 15 and over Easter), you are required to present your own authorization from the Xunta de Galicia to access the island. This will be sent to you via email promptly. In the off-peak months, no advance authorization will be issued as the guide will handle it on your visit day.
In the event that someone in your party cannot attend, kindly provide at least 15 days' notice, along with the absent individual's name, allowing the Xunta de Galicia to remove them from the list.
Guided Exploration of Ons Island
Between October 1 and May 14 (excluding the period from the Friday before Easter until Easter Sunday), your ferry ticket includes a complimentary one-hour guided tour of Ons Island.

Upon completing your booking, you will have access to a drop-down menu where various return times can be selected.

Important information
Timetables and Departure Points
You must go to the Muelle Pesquero, on Avenida Montero Ríos s/n. Please arrive 30 minutes before the ferry's departure time.
Necessary Documentation
Ons Island is a protected space with a daily quota of visitors, and to be able to visit, you should obtain authorization from the Xunta de Galicia which the local provider will process.
In high season (from May 15 to September 30 and at Easter), once the authorization has been processed, you'll receive it by e-mail. You must bring it with you, as well as this voucher. If you prefer, you can request it at the ticket office on the day of your visit, as long as you arrive at least 25 minutes in advance. The rest of the year, we will not send it to you, as it'll be the guide himself who will bring it on the day of the tour.
If you still haven't received the authorization of the Xunta in your email 24 hours before the date of your visit, you can access the website of the Xunta and download the authorizations by following these steps:

- Once on the page, select option #3 "Search by date and visitor's document"
- After filling in your details, you'll be able to download the authorization directly
If for any reason any of the participants cannot attend the activity, please give at least 15 days' notice and indicate the name and surname of the person who will be absent so that the Xunta de Galicia can remove him/her from the list.
Ticket conditions
Tickets can only be issued up to 30 minutes before the departure of the boat and at the port of departure corresponding to your journey.
The ticket is null and void and has no value outside the day and time indicated on the ticket. If you lose your ticket, you must buy a new ticket.
You must be at the dock 10 minutes before departure and/or return time with your boarding ticket and the enclosed authorisation to disembark on the island of Ons.
The company is entitled to modify the announced timetables and even to suspend and cancel the trip for internal, technical-logistical or organisational reasons, as well as for reasons of weather or unprecedented circumstances . Likewise, it can make any kind of intermediate stopover.
