Snowshoe Hike in Ordesa & Monte Perdido
Our adventure begins at 10 am on Calle Iglesia in Torla-Ordesa. From this meeting point, you will follow the guide's vehicle to reach the Ordesa y Monte Perdido National Park. Your snowshoeing experience is about to unfold!
Upon arriving at the trailhead, we will equip ourselves with snowshoes and poles, marking the start of our trek through the wintry terrain.
During our journey, we will traverse the Aragonese Pyrenees, taking in the panoramic views of towering, snow-covered peaks and majestic fir trees that create this serene winter landscape.
As we journey through this natural park, we will delve into the unique adaptations of the flora and fauna that thrive in such challenging mountain conditions. Interesting insights about the regional features will also be shared; for instance, did you know that Monte Perdido holds the title of being the highest limestone massif in Europe?
Concluding our snowshoe adventure, we will change back into our regular footwear and return to our vehicles. The experience will wrap up between 12 and 1 pm at our original meeting point.
