PADI Open Water Course
Description
Embark on an underwater adventure and achieve your diving certification through the PADI Open Water program. By the conclusion of this course, you'll engage in four open-water dives!
PADI Open Water Course
Initial Day: Orientation
Your journey begins with an evening meeting with your instructor, where you'll finalize all essential documentation and receive your diving manual. The experience will kick off with an introductory video to familiarize the group with PADI.
Day 1: Theoretical Learning + confined water practice
The day will commence with the group donning their gear and entering the pool for fundamental exercises. You'll quickly gain confidence and familiarize yourself with the use of diving equipment.
Once comfortable with the tools, we'll transition into the theoretical aspect of the PADI Open Water Diver course. This classroom segment is designed to equip you with the understanding necessary for seamless navigation in the water.
Day 2: Theory + shallow open-water practice (12 m / 40 ft)
Are you ready to dive in? Following another classroom session and a test to assess your theoretical comprehension, we will set sail! It's time to apply what you've learned and put your diving abilities to the test. The group will conduct two dives in open water on this day, reaching a maximum depth of 12 meters or 40 feet.
Day 3: Open water dives (18 m / 60 ft)
On the final day, we’ll head out early to the boat for our last two open-water dives.
Throughout these last days, you'll acquire the skills to prepare the diving equipment, maintain buoyancy control, clear your mask, assist a fellow diver in case of an air supply issue, among many other crucial skills for open-water diving. Upon successful completion of all tasks, you will be awarded your PADI Open Water Diver certificate!
