The adventure begins with pickup at your hotel in El Calafate, followed by a 45-minute drive to Los Glaciares National Park. Enjoy the scenic journey!
As we travel towards the mountains, the turquoise waters of Lake Argentino will glimmer to our right, and you might catch a glimpse of condors soaring over the rocky cliffs. The panoramic views are sure to impress!
Upon entering this Patagonian gem, a declared UNESCO World Heritage Site, the scenery transforms from lovely calafates to lengas and coihues draped in moss.
You'll have 3.5 hours of free time to wander along the panoramic walkways, offering spectacular views of the renowned Perito Moreno Glacier. This colossal ice formation rises 30 km (19 mi) high, extends 5 km (3.1 mi) wide, with vertical walls nearly 70 m (229 ft) tall, presenting a jaw-dropping sight from every angle!
As you explore, be captivated by the glacier's blue hues and listen for the occasional crack as the ice shifts. During your visit, enjoy the included picnic lunch comprising regional cold cuts, salad, and wine—what a unique dining experience amidst nature!
If you wish, opt for a 1-hour boat ride to get closer to the glacier, or continue to relish the breathtaking views from the walkways—it's entirely your decision!
Next, we will proceed to Estancia Río Mitre, which provides stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Here, you will enjoy a picnic lunch featuring fried cakes and local specialties, complemented by a traditional mate ceremony. Experience this symbolic drink that embodies friendship and Argentine hospitality—ideal for warming up after your glacier adventure!
You'll also learn how to properly prepare mate while enjoying the sunset as it lights up the Andean peaks.
Concluding our day, we will return you to your hotel, where we’ll bid farewell 8.5 hours after your initial pickup.

In addition, you will have the option of taking a boat trip, which will cost approximately 72000ARS.
