Traditional Taco Tour

Commencing in the heart of Playa del Carmen, this tour leads us to a local market, providing an immersive experience in Mexican culinary culture. We will start by savoring handcrafted quesadillas before exploring several fruit stands, refreshing ourselves with some exotic fruit juices from the Riviera Maya!

Continuing the adventure, we’ll visit a renowned taco restaurant famed for its delightful offerings, followed by a stop at a street taco vendor, allowing you to appreciate this iconic Mexican dish in a variety of styles.

Next, we’ll head to a market stall to sample traditional mole, a tasty Mexican sauce. The experience wraps up with a delight of handmade fruit popsicles and other regional specialties.

After the tour, we will return to the starting meeting point.

Vegan Taco Tour

This tour begins at a local fruit shop in Playa del Carmen, where you'll sample some exotic regional fruits and juices. From there, we’ll stroll to the main market, an ideal location to taste vegan “sopes” (a type of open-faced tortilla).

As we explore this area of Playa del Carmen, we’ll discuss local culinary traditions, highlighting common dishes and the key ingredients that characterize authentic Mexican recipes. You’ll also enjoy a delightful vegan ceviche paired with a surprise ingredient. Can you guess what it might be?

We will conclude our journey at a taquería, where you can choose from an array of vegan taco options featuring lentils, soy, avocado, and more. After satisfying your appetite, we’ll return to the meeting point to finish the tour.

Seafood Taco Tour

This seafood taco experience takes you to three popular eateries where you can sample the most delicious seafood tacos. From a fish market to a tostaderia, we will explore these venues while enjoying a beer, water, or soft drink at each stop.

The highlight of our tour will be indulging in a refreshing homemade ice cream while we stroll through Playa del Carmen.
