We will gather at the Piazza Angelina Lauro, number 27 at the specified time to set off from Sorrento and commence our excursion to Pompeii and Herculaneum. Prepare to journey through history as we visit two of the globe's most significant archeological locations.

The first destination is the spectacular Pompeii. Upon arrival, you'll traverse the ancient streets, temples, and villas of this Roman city, which remarkably lie preserved beneath volcanic ash. Highlights of your exploration will include the Forum, the thermal baths, the Lupanar, and the renowned houses adorned with frescoes, allowing you to grasp what daily life entailed prior to the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 A.C.

After this enlightening tour, we'll take a short break so you can enjoy a local lunch to recharge before we head to Herculaneum!

In contrast to Pompeii, Herculaneum was engulfed by a layer of volcanic mud, which contributed to the remarkable preservation of its frescoes, mosaics, and other artifacts.
