Our journey begins at Ponta da Calheta, located in the southern region of Porto Santo Island. Here, we will kick off the kayak tour with a briefing that includes essential paddling techniques and safety guidelines for kayaking in open waters. Ready to embark? Let’s get started!

We may navigate one of two routes: the first leads to Praia do Zimbralinho, while the second takes us toward Ilhéu da Cal. The guide will select the most appropriate route based on the current sea and wind conditions.

Should we choose the path to Ilhéu da Cal, we will encounter a small islet characterized by limestone formations. If the weather permits, we’ll venture into the sea caves that have been sculpted by relentless wave action. These unique caves feature partially submerged entrances and irregular rock walls, promising a thrilling navigation experience.

If our course takes us to Praia do Zimbralinho, we will paddle towards a hidden cove embraced by towering cliffs, where we can admire wave-cut platforms and intricate caves hewn into the stone. This location, accessible solely by water, offers an opportunity to appreciate a pristine natural setting.

As our adventure draws to a close, we will make our way back to the starting location, wrapping up our experience with a fond farewell after approximately 1.5 hours together.
