Day Trip to Preveli Beach

At the appointed time, our team will collect you from your hotel in Chania, setting the stage for an exciting day ahead. Our journey will lead us southward along the Cretan coastline, where you will uncover some of the island's iconic beaches, including Damnoni, Plakias, and Preveli!

Our first destination is the charming village of Damnoni. Here, you will board a boat that will take you to Preveli Beach, renowned for its beauty. Upon arrival, you will have ample free time to explore at your own pace. We suggest taking a leisurely walk along the shore, wandering through the famous palm forest, relaxing on the soft, white sands, and enjoying a refreshing swim in the tranquil waters—truly a slice of paradise!

Next, we will visit the picturesque fishing village of Plakias, celebrated as one of Crete's sought-after tourist destinations due to its exquisite beaches. You will have an hour of free time to savor a delightful lunch at a local eatery.

Rejuvenated from your meal, we will continue with an hour-long minibus ride towards the stunning Kourtaliotis Gorge, recognized as one of the most captivating gorges in Crete. Did you know that its towering walls reach heights of up to 600 meters? From the cliffs, we’ll be treated to panoramic views of the remarkable southern landscapes. Plus, be on the lookout for a hidden hermitage—can you spot it?

After a brief photo op on our return journey, we will conclude the day, bringing you back to your hotel in Chania after an enriching experience lasting approximately 9 hours.
