Prior Lucas Winery Experience

Upon your arrival, we will gather at the entrance of the Prior Lucas Winery, where a guided tour begins, unveiling the fascinating aspects of Coimbra's viticulture.

We will wander through the vineyards, learning about the unique qualities of the local soil and its impact on grape cultivation. You will gain insights into various grape varieties utilized in the winery's production, including Baga, Tinta Roriz, Touriga Nacional, Merlot, and Syrah.

After our outdoor exploration, we will proceed indoors to visit the different rooms where the wine-making magic occurs. You will observe the de-stemmer, the steel tank area, and the oak barrels integral to the aging process.

Our experience will culminate in a sampling of three distinct wines paired with local oil. This enriching hour-long journey will conclude as we savor the flavors together.
