Kuelap Fortress (9 Hours)

Following your pickup, we will journey south to Nuevo Tingo to board the cable car heading to the Kuelap archaeological site. Here, we will devote around 6 hours uncovering intriguing pre-Incan circular structures that trace their origins to the 5th century AD. After this exploration, we will enjoy a meal at a local restaurant, concluding our trip with a return to your hotel in Chachapoyas, approximately 9 hours later.

Gocta Waterfall (9 Hours)

Upon collecting you from your hotel, we will depart Chachapoyas and head north towards the village of Cocachimba. Once we arrive, we’ll embark on a 2-hour trek through the trails, appreciating the rich flora and fauna of the Peruvian jungle.

Our destination is the magnificent Gocta Waterfall (referred to as "La Chorrera" by locals), plunging dramatically from a height of 771 meters! To replenish ourselves, we will savor lunch at a local restaurant, which includes a starter, main course, and drink. After a total of about 9 hours, we will take you back to your hotels in Chachapoyas.

Cavernas de Quiocta & Sarcofagos de Karajia (10.5 Hours)

After your pickup, we will travel northeast to Lamud, passing through the picturesque villages of Cochechan and Cruz Pata. From there, we will undertake a 30-minute walk to the Karajia Sarcophagi, where ancient pre-Incan sculptures enclose the mummified remains of individuals dating back to the 15th century.

At midday, a delicious lunch will await us in Lamud, which includes a starter, main dish, and drink. Refreshed, our next stop is the Quiocta Caves. Inside, you will discover archaeological evidence of pre-Incan burial sites and cave paintings from the Chachapoyan civilization. Following this enriching journey, we will drive you back to your hotels after a comprehensive 10.5 hours.

Revash & Leymebamba Mausoleums (10 Hours)

Our journey begins with your pickup as we head south towards Santo Tomás. A 45-minute walk will lead us to the Revash archaeological complex, where Revash mausoleums, locally called chullpas, serve as collective tombs intricately carved into a rocky wall overlooking a ravine, resembling traditional Chachapoyas village houses.

Next, we will proceed to Leymebamba to visit the Mallqui Museum. Before entering, we’ll recharge with a hearty traditional lunch at a local restaurant. Inside the museum, more than 200 mummies will astonish you. Finally, we will return you to your hotels in Chachapoyas after about 10 hours.
