Itinerary: Discover the Greco-Roman city of Ephesus
At the scheduled time, we will pick you up from your hotel in Kusadasi and set out to the north. A short drive of approximately thirty minutes will take us to Ephesus, an ancient city in Anatolia recognized as a World Heritage Site.
Upon reaching this vital archaeological treasure, you will embark on a guided tour of Ephesus, where the prominent sites, including the Library of Celsus, the grand theater, and the Odeon, will be unveiled. Are you eager to understand their historical significance? The answers will come shortly!
Our journey through Ephesus proceeds with a stop at the Temple of Hadrian, where we will explore ancient latrines and take a moment at the Fountain of Trajan, honoring the first Hispanic emperor of the Roman Empire.
After exploring Ephesus, we will head towards nearby vineyards. Here, we’ll pause at a local winery for a tasting session showcasing seven Turkish wines, paired thoughtfully with regional delicacies. As you savor the diverse aromas and tastes, you will gain a deeper understanding of local wine traditions. The winery also offers a delicious lunch option for those interested.
As our day draws to a close, we will return to your hotel in Kusadasi, with an estimated arrival time of six hours from the beginning of our adventure.
