Day 1: Tehran – Kashan

We will greet you at your hotel in Tehran or Imam Khomeini International Airport at the scheduled time and set off toward the enchanting city of Kashan. The journey will take approximately 3 hours.

Our exploration will commence at the stunning Fin Garden, a renowned UNESCO World Heritage Site featuring cypress trees, tranquil pools, and ancient water channels. Following this, we will visit the Agha Bozorg Mosque, noted for its perfect symmetry and unique sunken courtyard.

Next, we will delve into the Sultan Amir Ahmad Hammam, adorned with turquoise tiles and majestic domes. To cap off the day, we'll see two of the most significant structures from the Qajar period: the Tabatabaei and Borujerdi houses, where intricate stained glass, frescoes, and picturesque courtyards await, allowing you to travel back in time.

We’ll conclude our day at the hotel, where you can enjoy dinner at your leisure, either at the hotel or at a nearby restaurant.

Day 2: Kashan – Meybod – Chak Chak – Kharanaq – Yazd

After a hearty breakfast, we will bid farewell to Kashan and continue our adventure to the desert city of Yazd. This segment of our journey spans around 8 hours with several intriguing stops along the way.

Our first stop will be the Meybod Yakhchal, a historical adobe ice house showcasing ancient Persian engineering. Next, we'll visit the Narin Castle, a formidable mud-brick fortress offering panoramic views of the stark landscape.

As we venture into the mountains, we'll explore Chak Chak, the premier Zoroastrian pilgrimage site in Iran, featuring a sacred spring nestled within a cave. Our final stop will be the ghost town of Kharanaq, a labyrinth of winding alleys and partially crumbled towers rich in history.

We will arrive in Yazd at sunset, where we'll check into a traditional hotel. The rest of the evening is yours to unwind and dine at your convenience.

Day 3: Yazd

After breakfast, we’ll immerse ourselves in the wonders of Yazd, a city that exhibits remarkable adaptability to desert life. Our day begins at the stunning Jameh Mosque, famous for its soaring minarets and exquisite tilework.

We'll then navigate the enchanting Amir Chakhmaq complex, a grand square known for its striking symmetrical architecture. Our next destination will be the legendary Prison of Alexander, a site steeped in myth.

We will then visit the Zoroastrian Fire Temple, where a sacred flame has been kept alive for over 1500 years. To gain insights into desert water management, we'll explore the Water Museum, which highlights the functionality of qanats, the underground aqueducts. Finally, at the Towers of Silence, we’ll witness the intertwining of spirituality and the serene desert landscape.

Our day will wrap up as we return to our accommodations in Yazd for some well-deserved rest and dinner at your leisure.

Day 4: Yazd – Pasargadae – Naqsh-e Rostam – Shiraz

After breakfast, we depart for Shiraz, the city of poets. On our way, we will stop at two pivotal sites that illuminate the grandeur of the ancient Persian Empire.

The first stop will be Pasargadae, where the tomb of Cyrus the Great, the founding figure of the Achaemenid Empire and a beacon of tolerance, resides. Next, we will explore Naqsh-e Rostam, a necropolis etched into the cliffs that contains the tombs of four Persian kings alongside impressive rock carvings.

We’ll reach Shiraz by nightfall, and you’ll have the chance to enjoy a delicious dinner and rest in a traditional hotel.

Day 5: Shiraz

After breakfast, our day will commence with a visit to the renowned Nasir al-Mulk Mosque, commonly referred to as the Pink Mosque. The interplay of light and color during dawn is simply breathtaking—an unforgettable sight!

Next, we’ll examine the Vakil Complex, which dates back to the Zand dynasty, strolling through the mosque, the hammam, and the bazaar, where fragrant saffron and rosewater fill the air. We will also tour the historic Karim Khan Citadel, a royal residence from the 18th century.

In the afternoon, we will honor the illustrious poet Hafez with a visit to his mausoleum, set amidst beautiful gardens and orange trees, where his verses linger in the air.

As our day draws to a close, you have the evening free for dinner and will overnight at the hotel in Shiraz.

Day 6: Shiraz – Persepolis – Isfahan

Post-breakfast, we’ll journey to one of the globe's most significant archaeological sites: Persepolis. We'll explore this ancient ceremonial capital of the Persian Empire, which is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, marvelling at its reliefs, pillars, and stairways that narrate the story of an astonishing empire.

After this historical immersion, we will travel to Isfahan, the city of bridges and domes adorned in turquoise. Upon arrival, we’ll take an evening stroll to admire the enchanting Naqsh-e Jahan Square. Did you know it’s among the largest squares globally and a true example of Islamic urban planning?

At day’s end, you’ll be free to enjoy dinner at a local restaurant before returning to your hotel for the night.

Day 7: Isfahan

After breakfast, we will embark on a journey to Isfahan, often dubbed “half of the world.” Our first destination will be Naqsh-e Jahan Square to appreciate it in daylight.

We will visit the stunning Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque, famed for its dome that changes colors with the light, alongside the monumental Shah Mosque, an architectural wonder of Persia. We'll then ascend to the Ali Qapu Palace for spectacular views over the square.

Continuing on, we’ll traverse the Qeysarieh Bazaar, where you can witness artisans crafting metal, miniatures, and carpets. We’ll conclude our day at the Chehel Sotoun Palace, replete with its marvellous mirrors and frescoes harking back to the Safavid era.

Your day will wrap up with some free time for dinner and an overnight stay in Isfahan.

We will stroll over the architectural marvels of the Si-o-se-pol and Khaju bridges, spanning the Zayandeh River, before concluding the day at the Music Museum, where you'll find traditional instruments and might even catch a live performance.

End your day with an evening free for dinner and overnight accommodations at the hotel in Isfahan.
