Exclusive Tour of East Salalah

Your adventure begins as we collect you from your accommodation in Salalah at 8 am, followed by an exciting excursion to the eastern region of the city. Our first destination will be the stunning Athum Waterfalls, renowned as one of the most picturesque falls in Oman.

We will embark on a brief trek leading us to the waterfalls. Along the route, immerse yourself in the verdant jungle scenery of East Salalah, filled with towering trees and fragrant rose gardens—truly a sight to behold!

After our exploration, we will return to the jeep and drive to Taqah, where pristine beaches await. Keep an eye out for playful dolphins swimming just off the shore!

Next, we will navigate through the historic center of Taqah to visit its ancient castle. Inside this 19th-century stronghold, explore watchtowers, the guard room, and even a prison. We’ll also see rooms featuring displays of traditional Omani tools and utensils that reflect the cultural heritage of Oman.

Our journey continues to the remarkable archaeological site of Samhram. Did you know these ruins date back to the 1st century BC and are recognized by UNESCO? Throughout the visit, we’ll uncover the significance of this ancient city within the incense trade routes that once brought great renown to the region.

Following this enriching experience, enjoy an hour of leisure for lunch at a local eatery. We will then venture onward to the breathtaking Darbat Valley, acclaimed as one of Oman’s most stunning natural parks.

As our day of exploration comes to a close, we will return you to your hotel by 5 pm, leaving you with cherished memories and a camera full of vibrant images.
