Our first destination is the coastal city of Al Khor, located approximately 45 minutes from Doha. Upon arrival, we will embark on a 20-minute tour to discover one of the largest cities in Qatar, shaped significantly by the fishing and oil industry. The local port will be our highlight, where we can enjoy views of dhows, the traditional wooden boats that illustrate Al Khor's maritime history.

Next, we will head to Purple Island, which is just 20 minutes away. Here, we will explore a beautiful natural landscape that shelters various exotic species of flora and fauna. The island features impressive mangroves and lush vegetation that stand out in the Qatari scenery.

After this 20-minute walking tour, we will return to the minibus and make our way to Baladana Farm, located 30 minutes away. At this farm, we will take a 30-minute guided tour to learn about milk production along with how the animals and their natural environment are cared for.

To conclude our day trip in northern Qatar, we will visit Umm Salal Mohammed, home to the Barzan Towers, which were constructed in the 19th century to oversee the boats arriving in the city. We will also explore the town to uncover the secrets within its traditional buildings and the military strategies that made this area a key part of Qatar's history.

Finally, we will return to Doha, bringing this 4-hour private tour to a close.
