Kayak Excursion with Bioluminescent Plankton
Depending on the lunar phase, we'll arrange to collect you from your accommodation in Holbox. Are you set for an unforgettable evening? Join us on this kayak tour to explore luminescent plankton!
Once you arrive, we'll begin with a stroll along the beach, where we will use lasers and binoculars to spot constellations and stars. Following this introduction, you’ll receive all necessary kayaking gear before we start paddling for approximately 25 minutes to reach Punta Mosquito. Here, amidst the night’s embrace, you will experience the enchantment of glowing plankton.
When we reach our destination, you'll have a generous 45 minutes to swim and engage with the radiant bioluminescence. Afterward, we will paddle back for another 25 minutes to our starting point and complete our journey with a 10-minute walk to the Holbox sign, marking the conclusion of the tour.

The visibility of bioluminescent plankton is influenced by natural factors and is thus reliant on the lunar calendar. Once your reservation is confirmed, the tour operator will reach out with the specific pickup time.

Accessibility
Accessible only for folding chairs. An accompanying person is required. This must be indicated in the reservation.
Important information
On the day of the activity, we'll pick you up from your hotel at the indicated time. We recommend that you be at the hotel reception at least 15 minutes before the tour starts. Please be punctual.

You'll have to be at the meeting point at least 30 minutes before the activity starts.
We advise not bringing electronic devices or valuables, and bringing a towel and a change of clothes.
