Your adventure begins at the entrance of the Rock Garden at the arranged meeting time. From there, you will explore the park, where countless sculptures crafted from recycled materials await your discovery. You will learn about the inspiring story of how, in 1960, an artist took it upon himself to transform a neglected forest into a vibrant gallery using collected pieces of glass and plastic.

The vision of Nek Chand includes meandering paths, picturesque waterfalls, and diverse sculptures, establishing itself as a hallmark of the city. Each day, over 5000 visitors come to experience the Rock Garden.

Once we leave the Rock Garden, the journey continues to the Nagar Van forest park, also referred to as City Forest. This serene environment is a haven for hiking enthusiasts, featuring endless trails, a charming bridge, and a secluded cabin hidden in this peaceful area of the city. Here, the gentle sounds of nature can be enjoyed alongside the melodies of over 20 bird species that make this ecosystem their home.

Next, we proceed to the Sukhna Lake, a reservoir established in 1958 through the damming of a stream that descends from the Sivalik Hills at the base of the Himalayas. This picturesque location has become a beloved space for recreation and leisure among the residents of Chandigarh.

After approximately 2 hours of exploring the beautiful parklands, our tour concludes along the shores of Sukhna Lake.
