Rome Private Tour
Description
The Private Tour of Rome from Civitavecchia is ideal for those seeking a comfortable exploration of the city with family and friends. This experience is tailored to suit your preferences.
Private Tour of Rome
The journey begins at the port of Civitavecchia, strategically situated about an hour's drive from the heart of Rome.
Your adventure will kick off at St. Peter's Square within Vatican City, where you'll have ample time to explore and even enter the magnificent St. Peter's Basilica, recognized as the largest church globally. While there, you’ll encounter breathtaking artworks, including Michelangelo's renowned 'The Pieta' and Bernini's 'St. Peter's Baldachin'.
After visiting the Vatican, we'll proceed to the Colosseum. Here, you can immerse yourself in the history of this iconic amphitheater and stroll through the Imperial Fora, taking in the outstanding scenery. Notable sights include Constantine's Arch and the historic Palatine Hill.
Next, we'll head to the Trevi Fountain, a highlight in the city known for its stunning beauty. You'll have time to enjoy a meal while appreciating this famous fountain, celebrated for its memorable scene in Fellini's Dolce Vita.
Following our meal, our journey continues to Piazza di Spagna (where you’ll find the Spanish Steps), the ancient Pantheon (which has stood for over 2000 years in impeccable condition), and Piazza Navona (home to three remarkable fountains and Bernini's masterpieces).
The tour will conclude at Janiculum, deemed the eighth hill of Rome, providing a perfect vantage point to capture the stunning vistas of the 'Eternal City'.
We will ensure you have sufficient time to return to your boat after your visit to Rome.
