Day 1: Journey from Tashkent to Samarkand
Your adventure begins with a pickup from your hotel or Tashkent airport after 9 am, followed by a trip to Tashkent Central Station. Here, you will board a high-speed train to Samarkand, reaching your destination in just over two hours and delving into this UNESCO World Heritage site.
Our guided tour will kick off at the Guri Emir mausoleum, before moving on to the breathtaking Registan Square, which features three remarkable madrasahs: Ulughbek, Shirdar, and Tillakori. The Shahi Zindah necropolis and Bibi Khanum Mosque will also be included in our itinerary, so be prepared to capture stunning moments!
After a pause for lunch, we’ll explore the lively atmosphere of the Siyab Bazaar, where you can experience a variety of spices, textiles, and other fascinating items.
By around 4 pm, we will check into the hotel, providing you with the evening to unwind or venture out to discover more of the city at your own pace.
Day 2: Samarkand to Bukhara
Our second day begins at 8 am as we make our way to Samarkand train station. In a brief 40-minute train ride, we will arrive in Bukhara, recognized as one of Uzbekistan's most diverse cities.
Prepare to embark on an enlightening tour that will guide you through landmarks such as the Naqshbandi memorial complex, Chor Bakr necropolis, and the opulent Sitorai Mohi-Hosa Palace. As we explore Bukhara, we will discuss its enchanting history and significance in Islam.
After a full day of sightseeing, you will be driven to your hotel where you can rest or choose to explore the city further at your leisure.
Day 3: Exploring Bukhara and Returning to Tashkent
The final day of our tour will focus on discovering more of Bukhara's architectural gems. The historical center has earned recognition as a World Heritage Site, highlighting its artistic and cultural significance.
Throughout the day, you'll have the chance to visit historical sites such as the mausoleum of Ismail Samani, Bolo Hauz Mosque, Madrasa of Abdul Aziz Khan, Masjidi Kalyan complex, and the Arq Fortress, which is steeped in romantic legends.
After lunch, we will proceed to Bukhara train station for our return trip to the capital. You'll arrive back at your hotel in Tashkent by 7 pm.
