Experience the stunning underwater world of Santa Maria island with this introductory scuba diving session. This activity serves as an excellent gateway into the captivating realm of diving and the incredible marine scenery found in the Azores.
Introductory Scuba Diving Experience in Santa Maria
We will gather at 8 am at 473 Alto da Cruz Street in Vila do Porto. Here, you'll receive all the essential diving gear needed for your first underwater adventure. Following this, we'll hop on a minibus that will transport us to the Santa Maria port.
Upon arrival, we’ll board a boat that will take us to the designated scuba diving site. After a brief orientation, we will plunge into the ocean and dive to approximately 20 ft, allowing you to explore the breathtaking ecosystem of the Azores for a duration of 40 minutes. Be prepared to witness vibrant corals, swarms of tuna, volcanic formations, and more beneath the surface!
After the dive, we will return to the Vila do Porto Marina, where you will be taken back to the original meeting point to receive your PADI diving certificate. The activity will conclude at 2 pm, and we will take a moment to say our goodbyes.

At 8 am, we will meet up at Rua Alto da Cruz, 473 (9580-473 Vila do Porto, Portugal). Please be at the meeting point at least 10 minutes in advance.
