Description
The York Pass sightseeing card provides complimentary entry to over 40 attractions in York, including ancient castle ruins, a remarkable aquarium, the iconic York Minster, and more.
York Pass
The most sought-after attractions included on the York sightseeing pass are:
- York Minster
- York Dungeon
- Jorvik Viking Centre
- York Cruise
- York Sightseeing Tourist Bus (not operational in December, January, and February)
- Barley Hall
- Clifford's Tower

In addition to these attractions, your York Pass also includes free entry to York Mansion House, Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience, or Fairfax House. Pass holders can also enjoy significant discounts at select shops and restaurants. It's important to note that some attractions require pre-booking.
How does it work?
Your York Pass becomes valid upon your first use at an attraction. From that point, it is valid for either 1, 2, or 3 consecutive days. The first day will conclude at 11:59 pm regardless of your initial entry time.
Each pass allows one-time free admission to each attraction.
Collecting your York Pass
You can collect your York Pass from the Visit York Information Centre, located at 1 Museum Street, York. The centre operates daily from 9 am to 5 pm, except Sundays when it opens from 10 am to 4 pm.
Although a specific date must be selected during the purchase, you can collect your York Pass any day. The pass is valid from the moment of first use, not from the date of collection.

Children's York Passes are intended for children ages 5 to 16. Most attractions allow free entry for children under 5 years old. It is recommended to consult the individual attraction websites for detailed information.
