Bonaire Sightseeing Tour
Description
Discover the Caribbean jewel of the Netherlands with our Bonaire Sightseeing Tour. Board a bus and embark on a journey that will unveil the island's salt flats, historic towns, and stunning beaches.
Tour Overview
At the designated time, we will pick you up from your hotel or meet you at the Port of Kralendijk, based on your choice. Our bus will lead us on a trip across the island, making brief stops at its key points of interest. Prepare for an exciting adventure!
We will begin our adventure by driving along the coastline, bringing the spectacular salt flats of Bonaire into view. While you take in the sight of the towering salt mountains, we will share insights into the unique process of salt extraction. Additionally, we will encounter several slaves' huts, offering a chilling glimpse into the darker chapters of this industry.
The tour will guide us to some of the island’s most captivating beaches. Our next stop will be at 1000 Steps, an untouched bay perfect for photography and relaxation.
Continuing on, we will navigate through the mangroves surrounding Goto Lake and observe flamingos in their natural habitat, before reaching the historic municipality of Rincon, established by Spanish settlers in the 16th century. Here, we will visit a local museum housed in a historic home to gain deeper insights into Bonaire’s culture and history, followed by a tasting of a local favorite—cactus liqueur.
After a day full of exploration, we will return to our starting point, concluding our tour approximately 3 to 5 hours after the initial departure.
