Your journey begins with a pickup from your accommodation in Galle, followed by a scenic 2.5-hour drive towards the Sinharaja Forest Reserve. Are you ready to explore this UNESCO World Heritage Site?

Upon our arrival, we will delve into the wonders of this expansive 1,100-hectare (2,718-acre) reserve, home to some of the last remaining virgin forests on the planet. Get ready to explore a landscape that is lush, enigmatic, and teeming with life.

As we wander through the green heart of Sri Lanka, we will identify a myriad of local flora and fauna. Witness diverse tropical trees and vibrant plant life, alongside a stunning waterfall that enhances the natural beauty of the reserve.

The wildlife here is remarkable, featuring over 130 species of birds, including 33 endemic species to Sri Lanka. You'll also encounter a wealth of reptiles, like snakes and chameleons, alongside unclassified insect species. Keep an eye out for mammals such as the purple-faced langur monkey and the Indian giant squirrel.
