Snorkelling Experience at Isla del Caño

Begin your adventure by meeting your guide at the Bahía Drake coastline. From there, you'll board a vessel for the journey to Isla del Caño. This pristine island, adorned with verdant vegetation, ranks among the most captivating protected areas along the southwestern coast of Costa Rica.

Upon arrival at Caño Island, prepare for your snorkelling adventure by equipping yourself with goggles, fins, and a breathing tube. Dive into the inviting waters, where you'll experience two snorkelling sessions amidst the clear shallow ocean. The exact spots for these activities will be selected based on the day’s ocean currents and weather conditions.

With your snorkelling gear on, you'll witness remarkable marine species that inhabit these subtropical waters, including rays and various fish species. Following your underwater exploration, you will return to Bahía Drake by boat.

Essential Information

The snorkelling activity is usually set to kick off at 7 am, with a return to Drake Bay scheduled around 1 pm. However, these timing may fluctuate depending on the weather and sea conditions. As such, it's advisable to keep your entire day open.
