This adventure begins with your pickup from your accommodation in Managua at 6 am. Prepare for an unforgettable trip that will take us to one of the most stunning natural sites in Nicaragua: the Somoto Canyon.

During our comfortable minibus ride, we will pause briefly for a rest stop where you can grab a breakfast if you wish, refueling for the day ahead. After a drive of approximately 4 hours, we will reach the magnificent gorge, where a knowledgeable guide will meet us and provide the necessary equipment for our adventure.

The first segment of our journey features an enjoyable 1.2-mile (2 km) hike through shallow water. Following this, we will board a boat for a picturesque ride to the entrance of Somoto Canyon.

Upon arrival, you will have three options to consider: admire the breathtaking viewpoint, enjoy a refreshing swim in the Coco River, or float on a giant floatie for a distance of 1,312 ft (400 meters) down the canyon. What will you choose? Regardless of your decision, an incredible experience awaits!

By 2 pm, our adventure will come to an end, allowing us to savor a delicious traditional lunch featuring rice, beans, salad, and chicken.

To conclude our day at Somoto Canyon, we will return to your hotel in Managua, with an expected arrival around 7 pm.
