Souss-Massa National Park Day Trip

On this excursion to Souss-Massa National Park, you will discover one of Morocco's most captivating natural habitats, renowned for its remarkable biodiversity. Let's embark on this journey!

Excursion Overview

At the scheduled time, we will meet you at your accommodation in Taghazout and proceed towards the Souss-Massa National Park. The journey will take approximately an hour, during which you'll witness the stunning transformation of the landscapes in southern Morocco, where the warm ochre shades of the desert blend harmoniously with the lush greenery of the oasis, offering a visually enchanting drive.

Our initial stop before entering the park will be Tifnit Beach. Here, we will pause for around 15 minutes to appreciate this quaint fishing village, celebrated for its genuine atmosphere and pristine surroundings.

Following this, we will visit the Museum of Souss-Massa National Park, an informative venue dedicated to the endangered species found in the region. During our 30-minute exploration, we will delve into local conservation efforts and repopulation projects, exemplifying a strong commitment to ecological conservation!

We will then venture into the park itself, making occasional stops to walk through its diverse ecosystems. At each pause, we will disembark to capture images of wildlife in their natural surroundings: from ostriches and damselflies to butterflies, and even antelopes and the intriguing Arabian oryx. The variety of these species confirms the park's reputation as a genuine wildlife haven, so be sure to keep a lookout.

Once we have explored the park's highlights, we will head back to Taghazout, concluding our adventure in approximately 5 hours.
