Description

Embark on a street food journey through Quito and immerse yourself in the culinary delights of Ecuador's capital while exploring its vibrant streets.

Tour Overview

We will convene at the designated hour in the Plaza Grande, adjacent to the Independence Monument, to commence this delightful exploration of Quito's flavors.

Our first stop will be the Archbishop's Palace, where you will savor traditional sweets from Quito, including the renowned mistelas. Curious about the story behind these delightful confections? We will share their fascinating history!

Following that, we will explore various 'huecas', where you will experience an array of mouthwatering local dishes, such as crispy empanadas, the iconic encebollado, Ecuador's signature soup, and cevichochos, a must-try delicacy. To enhance this journey, we will enjoy refreshing natural juices made from exotic fruits.

Next, we will head to Ronda, where you can indulge in artisanal paila ice cream while we discuss the renowned Equatorian coffee, celebrated worldwide for its exceptional aroma and quality.

Do you have space left for dessert? The sweet finale of our 3.5-hour adventure will feature a visit to the finest chocolate in the country! It's no secret that Ecuador is famous for its exquisite chocolate.
