Tour Choices
When reserving your spot, you can select either the daytime or nighttime adventure. Both options will set sail from The Shallow Draught Bridgetown St. Michael and encompass two hours in total (including 40 minutes within the submarine plus transport time).
Daytime Experience
Board a ferry from the Bridgetown harbor at your designated time to head towards the Atlantis submarine. Enjoy a leisurely cruise along the Barbados coastline, where you can unwind and take in the beautiful scenery while being warmly greeted by the crew.
Upon arrival at Atlantis, settle in as the hatches are sealed and preparations for the dive commence. Just moments later, you will be submerged in the Caribbean Sea, peering out through large windows into depths of up to 45 meters (150 feet)! This journey through the underwater realm allows you to observe vibrant exotic fish in their natural habitat, including a fascinating shipwreck.
Throughout your 40-minute exploration, an experienced co-pilot will narrate your journey, helping you discover the marine life visible beyond the submarine's glass.
Nighttime Experience
The ferry departs at the scheduled time for a nocturnal voyage to the Atlantis submarine. As darkness settles in, the submarine illuminates, showcasing a unique perspective of the coral reef and its diverse residents.
Dive into the nighttime ocean magic for an exhilarating 40-minute adventure, marveling at the illuminated underwater wonders that await you. It's an experience unlike any other!
After your dive, enjoy a snack on the ferry, allowing you to engage with the submarine crew while tasting local treats—a perfect way to wrap up this enchanting underwater journey.
Height Requirement
For the submarine experience, all guests must have a minimum height of 1 meter (4 feet 4 inches).
