Swimming with Whale Sharks in La Paz
We will gather at Recinto Portuario at the designated time to embark on this extraordinary journey along the La Paz coastline. Our adventure begins with a briefing from the instructors, during which you will receive your equipment and gain insights into the experience ahead.
After this, we will board a catamaran that will transport us to an ideal location for swimming, conveniently situated close to the shore. It will then be your chance to dive into the ocean and swim alongside whale sharks, the largest fish species globally. Some of these majestic beings can reach lengths of up to 40 feet (12 meters)!
For 2 hours, you will have the opportunity to observe these remarkable creatures in their natural habitat. Fascinatingly, these animals have roamed the seas for over 70 million years! Do you have the courage to swim beside these gentle giants?
After cherishing this incredible experience, the crew will serve a light snack, including seasonal fruits, water, and soft drinks.
When our time swimming with whale sharks comes to a close, we will journey back to shore, returning to our original meeting point in La Paz. The activity will conclude after an exhilarating 6-hour adventure.
