The adventure begins at the BP gas station located on Avenida Ricardo Fabregas, where we will board a rugged 4x4 vehicle for an exciting tour across the Tabernas Desert.
Quickly, we will immerse ourselves in the striking environments of the Tabernas Desert Natural Park, known for its unique rock formations and the dramatic "badlands" shaped by erosion.
Our journey includes various stops, where we will delve into the fascinating geology of Tabernas. The area experiences an extreme climate, boasting over 3,000 hours of sunlight annually and minimal rainfall of less than 300 millimeters, leading to a landscape reminiscent of a desert.
Along the way, you will uncover the intriguing stories behind western cinema. Numerous films in this genre have been produced in the stunning landscapes of Tabernas.
Renowned director Sergio Leone selected these dramatic vistas for films like "A Fistful of Dollars" and "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly," featuring the unforgettable Clint Eastwood. We will share captivating anecdotes from the filming of scenes, with Tabernas’ desert scenery as a key element.
Our exploration lasts around two hours before we return to our initial meeting point.
