The Tavira tourist train offers a delightful 50-minute journey showcasing the city's most significant sights and attractions.

Your journey begins on Borda d'Água de Aguiar Street. The train will roll on towards the fishing port, where you can admire the stunning views of the Algarve coastline and explore the ancient local market. We'll then make a stop at the Vila Galé Hotel before continuing our scenic ride to the Gilão River, a wonderful spot for birdwatching.

Have you seen the salt pans of Tavira? If not, don’t worry; our train will take you past these stunning landscapes! Next, we will venture into the old town to witness several historical monuments, including the Islamic Museum, the Nossa Senhora da Piedade Chapel, the Hermitage of Sao Roque, and the renowned Tavira Castle, a medieval structure set within a picturesque garden.

As our train tour continues, we'll explore more noteworthy locations like the Santa Maria do Castelo church, the Pousada do Convento da Graça, and the Santiago Bridge.
