Are you ready to take part in an ancestral purification ceremony set amidst nature? This temazcal ritual in the enchanting town of Tepoztlán offers a chance to experience a pre-Hispanic steam bath that promises to rejuvenate your spirit.
Tour Description
On the scheduled day, we will gather at the Posada Temazcal to embark on this extraordinary journey in Tepoztlán. From there, we will proceed to the designated site of the temazcal, a traditional steam bath with origins in the ancient pre-Hispanic cultures of Mesoamerica.
Upon arrival, an introduction to the components of this ritual will take place. Subsequently, you will be invited to enter the temazcal cabin, an igloo-shaped structure where the ceremony unfolds. You may choose to participate alone or alongside others.
For approximately 50 minutes, you will be surrounded by the soothing steam and the fragrance of healing herbs. This immersive experience will not only cleanse your body but also foster deep relaxation, allowing you to release accumulated tension and revitalize your energy. It is noteworthy that this ritual plays a crucial role in spiritual cleansing and physical recovery.
Following the steam bath, you will have the opportunity to refresh and bask in the well-being that envelops you.

Important information
On the day of the activity, the guide will meet you at the Posada Temazcal, located at Matamoros 35, (click on this Google Maps link to see the exact location). You can go at any time between 7 am and 5 pm.
Important
We recommend taking a small rest beforehand and not eating, or only eating lightly, for 2 hours before the experience.
Don't forget your swimming suit and flip-flops.
