Our meeting point is set for 2 pm at the central Plaza de Nariño, where we will embark on an exploration of Pasto's most emblematic sites, a city colloquially known as the 'Surprise City' among Colombians. Curious about the origins of this nickname? Join us to discover the answer!

Starting at Plaza de Nariño, we will delve into the captivating history of Pasto before embarking on a journey through its numerous churches. The city boasts an impressive total of 25 churches, which has led it to be recognized as the 'Theological City of Colombia'.

Among our stops, we will admire the exterior of the Corazón de Jesús Cathedral, the San Juan Church, and the churches of Cristo Rey and La Merced. Following our exploration of these sacred sites, we will gain insight into the local culture at the Carnival Museum, where we will encounter artifacts from this vibrant celebration and observe the varnishing workshops, a renowned craft technique of the region. 

The tour will conclude with a delightful immersion into Pasto's cuisine. You'll witness the preparation of traditional paila ice cream and partake in a tasting session of Colombian coffee, guided by an expert barista who will share their knowledge on brewing techniques.

We will wrap up our journey by returning to the starting point at 6 pm.
