Casa Palma Tour + Paint Workshop

During this guided experience at Casa Palma, participants will delve into the artistic legacy of Fernando Palma and take part in a painting workshop. Each guest will have the opportunity to take their creation home.

Tour Overview

Welcome, art enthusiasts! We will gather at the pre-arranged time at the entrance of the Casa Palma gallery in Belo Horizonte. Once everyone has arrived, we will immerse ourselves in this remarkable residence and gallery, which showcases the history and works of nearly 100 local artists.

Our exploration will commence through the 23 rooms spread over three floors within Casa Palma, where the manuscripts and creations of Fernando Palma will transport us into his artistic realm. Júlio Palma, the son of the artist, will share engaging anecdotes about his father and lead us through this captivating space, revealing how Fernando shifted from a medical career to fully embrace his passion for art.

As we journey through the exhibition, we will encounter the works of approximately 100 artists from the Palma artistic collective. Expect a diverse range of creativity on display, including stunning paintings, sculptures, photography, literature, and even musical pieces. We will immerse ourselves in the rich tapestry of Brazil's artistic landscape.

Following our tour of the exhibition rooms, we will enjoy a selection of tea, wine, or grape juice. With drinks in hand, we will transition to the workshop area of the gallery. Here, we will learn to express our emotions and creativity through painting. All necessary supplies will be provided, allowing you to create a personal artwork to take home after the session.

Our time together will conclude with our farewells after approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes to 2 hours. Farewell until our next gathering!
