Options for the Tour

During the reservation process, you will have the opportunity to select from two tour options. Both options are 8.5 hours in duration and come with bus transport as well as an English-speaking guide. Below are the details for each choice:

Eastern Itinerary

This journey takes us to the magnificent Manjanggul Cave, known for being one of the longest and best-preserved lava tubes globally. Here, you will experience the volcanic essence of Jeju.

Following that, we will wander through Seongeup Folk Village, where you can discover traditional customs and the lifestyle of locals. Enjoy some free time for lunch before we continue.

Then, situated at Gwangchigi Beach, we’ll soak in the scenic coastline and learn about the haenyeo, extraordinary female divers who plunge into the sea without the use of oxygen tanks.

We will also take in the breathtaking sight of Sunrise Peak, a striking volcanic tuff cone rising dramatically from the ocean, renowned as one of South Korea’s most iconic vistas. To conclude the day, we will relax on Hamdeok Beach before exploring Dongmun Market, the island’s oldest and most lively traditional marketplace.

Southwest Itinerary

This tour commences with a visit to Mount Halla, a serene mountainous region that offers stunning panoramic views of Hallasan.

We will then explore the Jusangjeolli Cliff, celebrated for its unusual volcanic rock formations, and make our way to Cheonjeyeon Waterfall, a stunning three-level waterfall nestled in a natural setting. Here, we will take a 1-hour break for you to have lunch independently.

In the afternoon, our excursion continues to the O’sulloc green tea plantation and the picturesque Songaksan Mountain, where we will trek along a coastal trail offering spectacular ocean views. Our day will culminate with a visit to Bomunsa Temple on Sanbangsan Mountain before returning to Dongmun Market.

Itinerary Modifications

• In the event of adverse weather, the visit to Mount Halla on the southwest route may be substituted with either Hwansang Gotjawal Forest or Camellia Hill.
• During cherry blossom season, the southwest route will conclude at Jeonnong-ro Avenue instead of Dongmun Traditional Market.

• For those selecting the eastern route between mid-December and mid-April, the itinerary will feature a unique stop at the stunning canola fields, which create a brilliant yellow landscape.
