Excursion to Travnik and Jajce from Sarajevo

On the designated day, we will begin by collecting you from your hotel in Sarajevo before making our way to Travnik, renowned for its well-preserved Ottoman architecture. This region boasts 28 culturally and historically significant structures.

In Travnik, our first stop will be the Sulejmanija Mosque, commonly referred to as the Sarena Mosque, along with a visit to the two clock towers that have served the community since the 18th century.

Our exploration will also include the medieval fortress, where visitors can capture stunning panoramic views of the area. Additionally, don’t miss the chance to savor traditional Bosnian coffee before departing from Travnik.

Our journey then leads us to Jajce, aptly described as a city of stone and water. Recognized as one of the most picturesque towns in Bosnia, its castle and historic zone, adorned with waterfalls, beautifully reflect the medieval era.

We will wander through the city’s vital areas, where the Pliva River meets the Vrbas River, while also taking in the scenic beauty at the Pliva Waterfall and the water mills. It's a view to remember! Before our return journey, you will have some leisure time for lunch.

To conclude this enriching day, we will escort you back to Sarajevo. The entire experience will take approximately 11 hours, after which we will drop you off at your accommodation.
