Uluru-Kata Tjuta Sunrise Tour
Description
Discover the enchanting sunrise over Uluru while wandering through the breathtaking UNESCO World Heritage sites of Kata Tjuta and Walpa Gorge on this remarkable excursion.
Tour Overview
Your adventure begins with a pick-up at the designated location in Yulara at the arranged time, where you will board a minibus destined for one of Australia’s most renowned landmarks: Uluru.
As we travel into the captivating Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, you will encounter the sacred red monolith that holds great significance for Australia’s Indigenous cultures. Witness the transformative light of dawn as it bathes Uluru’s towering 340-meter-high surface in stunning hues of red.
Throughout this journey, we will relay the stories and legends that breathe life into this iconic location. Indigenous traditions speak of mythical beings residing within Uluru, serving as guardians and guides for their people throughout their lives.
Once the sunrise at the Uluru lookout has been admired, we’ll enjoy a brief intermission for tea or coffee accompanied by a light snack. Following this refreshment, we’ll proceed approximately 45 kilometers to another gem of the park: Kata Tjuta.
Also referred to as Mount Olga, the striking domes and rugged landscapes of Kata Tjuta promise a memorable experience. During our visit, we will engage in a scenic walk through the spectacular walls of Walpa Gorge, allowing you to intimately connect with its unspoiled natural splendor.
To enrich your time within Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, this tour also features an English audioguide, which provides automated commentary throughout the drive and hiking excursions.
At the conclusion of our exploration, we will return to Yulara, arriving approximately 5 hours after our initial departure.
