Explore the stunning landscapes of the Elqui River Valley on this cycling adventure. Here, you can rent all necessary cycling gear and embark on the journey at your own pace, selecting your preferred route.

Activity Details

We will gather at the scheduled time on Calle O'Higgins in Pisco Elqui, where you'll have the opportunity to choose the cycling gear that fits your needs.

In about 30 minutes, we will transport you from Pisco Elqui to Alcohuaz. Your biking journey will commence in this charming town nestled in the Elqui Valley, situated more than 7,000 feet (1,740 meters) above sea level. Are you ready to start?

Upon arrival, a map will be provided to guide your solo cycling adventure. You will travel along a 9.3-mile (15.10 km) rural route classified as medium difficulty, where you can appreciate the breathtaking scenery of the Elqui River Valley. These beautiful views are certain to become cherished memories!

Feel free to pause your ride at any notable sites, including the Los Nichos and Doña Josefa pisco distilleries, as well as the main squares in Alcohuaz and Horcón, two uniquely delightful villages. Along the way, you will also have access to picnic areas and restrooms, plus the chance to visit the Estero Derecho River.

Your cycling excursion will last around 5 hours. Please remember that you will be required to return to the meeting point in Pisco Elqui independently at the conclusion of your ride.
