Experience an unforgettable evening in the Iranian desert with this private one-night tour in the Varzaneh Desert. Enjoy walking on golden dunes, witnessing a stunning sunset, and sleeping under a minimally light-polluted sky.
Activity Details
Pickup will be from your hotel in Isfahan at the scheduled time, followed by a 1.5-hour drive east through urban areas into the Varzaneh Desert. The first stop will be in Varzaneh, where you can explore unique sites such as the ancient mud-brick bridge, pigeon towers, and the ruins of a caravanserai.
Next, enter the desert to explore the golden dunes that provide a perfect walking experience. Climb a high dune to watch the unforgettable sunset. After nightfall, a camp will be set up with a campfire, where a simple dinner, hot tea, and stories will be shared under the starry sky. Participants will sleep in tents equipped with camping mattresses and blankets.
At dawn, enjoy a stroll through the dunes followed by breakfast amidst the desert landscape. The return journey to Isfahan will start afterward, aiming to arrive at your hotel around 10 am.
Accommodation Info
This tour includes one night’s accommodation in desert tents. Depending on your group size, choose between single, double, or triple tents, with a maximum of three people per tent. All tents are equipped with camping mattresses and blankets for the night.

Important information
On the day of the activity, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Isfahan at the indicated time. Please arrive at least 10 to 15 minutes beforehand.
Important Info
- We recommend bringing warm clothes for the night and early morning, as well as comfortable walking shoes and sandals, a torch or headlamp, sun protection, sunglasses and a hat.
- Please note that there are no toilets at the campsite, this is a free camping experience.
