Tour Overview

Your adventure begins with a pick-up from your lodging in Puerto Plata, where a charming vintage car will await to take you through the captivating streets of this coastal gem. Are you ready? Fasten your seatbelt and let’s begin our journey!

Our first stop will be the historic center of Puerto Plata. As we cruise through, we will pass by the central park, famously known as Independence Square. Enjoy the views of significant landmarks, including the Cathedral of St. Philip the Apostle, the Town Hall, and the Casa de la Cultura. Make sure your cameras are at the ready!

Continuing our drive, we will weave through the vibrant alleyways called Umbrella Street and Doña Blanca, often referred to as Rosy Alleyway. Can you imagine the colorful scenery? One is shaded by countless umbrellas, while the other boasts walls painted in bright pink hues. Capture these unique sights!

This vintage car journey will take us to the Malecón. Here, we will enjoy views of the expansive Puerto Plata Bay as we proceed toward the Fortaleza de San Felipe. This historic fortress rises majestically, offering breathtaking vistas from the hill known as La Puntilla de Malecón.

Finally, we will return to the car for the trip back to your hotel, wrapping up our adventure approximately one hour after our initial pickup.

Pickup and drop-off services from your hotel are included with this tour for guests staying in the downtown area of Puerto Plata. Please note that for those in the Cofresi and Dorada Beach areas, there will be an additional charge of 30USD payable on the day of the tour.
