Vulcano Adventure

Forty-five minutes prior to the scheduled departure, we will gather at Piazza di Marina Corta in Lipari before proceeding to the pier, where our boat awaits to transport us to Vulcano. Let the journey begin!

While aboard, we'll navigate around the Vulcanello peninsula, which connects to the northern region of Vulcano. Interestingly, these two landmasses were distinct until the 16th century due to past volcanic eruptions that forged a link between them.

As we continue our cruise through the Tyrrhenian Sea, you'll have the chance to admire the striking landscape of the island. Expect to catch glimpses of sea caves, black sand beaches, the village of Gelso, and the impressive volcano that stands majestically in the heart of Vulcano. Prepare your camera—you won't want to miss capturing these moments!

If weather conditions permit, we will make brief stops to take a refreshing swim in the open sea!

Upon our arrival on the island, you'll enjoy two hours of free time to dine and explore as you wish. For hiking enthusiasts, there’s the option to ascend the Gran Cratere della Fossa to witness its famed fumaroles. If you prefer a more relaxing option, consider visiting the therapeutic mud baths at Porto di Levante, known for their healing properties!

After two hours of your own exploration, we will reconvene at the boat for our return journey, concluding our experience approximately 8 hours after we set out.
