Day Trip to Waimea Canyon & K?ke?e State Park

At the scheduled time, you will be picked up from your accommodation in Kauai and we will proceed to the Hanapepe Valley Lookout. Here, you'll have the opportunity to admire the expansive view of the Hanapepe Valley, with a brief pause for photography.

Next, our journey takes us to Kauai Coffee, the largest coffee plantation in Hawaii, where a quick tasting session awaits you. Continuing onward, we will visit the delightful Hanapepe Swinging Bridge, a historic pedestrian bridge perfect for a stroll and capturing memorable photographs.

Our adventure leads us to the renowned Waimea Canyon, often referred to as the “Grand Canyon of the Pacific.” We'll make multiple stops at various viewpoints, allowing you to take in the breathtaking sights of its steep gorges, waterfalls, and vibrant cliffs. Afterward, we’ll ascend to Koke?e State Park and embark on a brief hiking trail rich in unique Hawaiian flora and home to native birds such as the ?apapane.

During this segment, a break for you to grab a bite at your own cost will be provided. Following this, we will visit the Pu?uhinahina Lookout to enjoy one final panoramic view of the magnificent Waimea Canyon.

We will then drive through the historic town of Waimea, once ruled by King Kaumuali?i, with a quick stop at the Russian Fort Elizabeth and the statue of King Kaumuali?i to learn more about the island's regal heritage. Our trip concludes with a visit to the impressive Spouting Horn, a natural feature where ocean waves surge through a lava tube, creating a delightful water jet display.

Your adventure wraps up as we return you to your hotel after approximately 10 hours.
