During your exploration, you'll gain insights into the lifestyles of ancient civilizations through the impressive collection of over 250,000 artifacts on display at the Weltmuseum in Vienna. This ticket provides an opportunity to view exceptional exhibits representing Asia, Africa, Oceania, and the Americas.
A highlight of the museum is its collection focused on the Aztec Empire. Here, you’ll discover sculptures and tools that reveal the story of Tenochtitlan, the ancient capital. Additionally, the exhibits feature items from Brazilian tribes that illustrate their historical ties to the House of Habsburg.
Furthermore, you will encounter some of the Polynesian artifacts collected by the explorer and cartographer James Cook. Among these treasures is a headdress purportedly worn by Moctezuma Xocoyotzin, surrounded by many tales highlighting its vibrant quetzal feathers adorned with gold.
Opening Times
The Weltmuseum is accessible on Tuesdays from 10 am to 9 pm and is open from Wednesday to Sunday between 10 am and 6 pm. The museum remains closed on Mondays.

You must go to the Welmuseum Vienna (Heldenplatz, 1010 Wien, Austria), where you will have to present your Civitatis reservation (printed or digitally) to redeem it for the actual museum ticket.
You can redeem this admission ticket up to a year after making your reservation.
Opening Times
The Weltmuseum opens on Tuesday, from 10 am to 9 pm and from Wednesday to Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm. On Mondays, the Weltmuseum is closed.
