Half-Day Tasting Tour (5 hours)

Your journey begins with a prompt pickup from your accommodation, where you'll board our minibus. Prepare to immerse yourself in the authentic flavors of Kangaroo Island!

After a brief ride, we will arrive at our first venue, an engaging honey farm. Here, you'll observe the industrious Ligurian bees, a species imported from Italy, as they create their renowned honey.

Next, we will continue to a nearby wine establishment, where you can unwind while enjoying a scenic wine tasting. Our knowledgeable guide will highlight the unique flavor profiles of each wine, influenced by the island's maritime climate. Additionally, you’ll have the chance to sample delicious locally-crafted cider. Cheers!

After this, time permitting, we will explore two more local highlights. This may include a eucalyptus oil distillery that showcases how this essential oil is used in various products or a visit to an award-winning craft distillery, where vodka and gin are produced from juniper sourced on the island. Alternatively, we may visit a lavender farm for a relaxing tea break while strolling through the fragrant grounds.

Finally, after an enriching 5 hours, we will conclude our tour back at the original meeting spot.

Note: The final two stops during the tour may vary based on timing, with a total of four venues included in the itinerary.

Full-Day Tasting Tour (8 hours)

Enhance your experience by opting for a full-day tour, allowing you to fully indulge in each location and tasting!

This tour will replicate the itinerary outlined above, encompassing all venues: the honey farm, a wine establishment for a comprehensive wine and cider tasting, the eucalyptus oil distillery, an artisanal vodka and gin distillery, and a serene visit to the lavender farm, where you can enjoy tea and fresh scones infused with local lavender.

Additionally, we will visit the historically significant site of Reeve's Point, where European settlers first alighted in southern Australia. You will have the opportunity to take in breathtaking coastal views during our stroll, as well as a chance to buy lunch.

Hotel Pickup

Please be informed that hotel pickup and drop-off is provided for guests staying in Kingscote. If your accommodation is located in the American River or Penneshaw areas, pickup can be arranged for an extra fee, payable in cash on the day of the tour.
