Wine Tour of the Zeta Plain

Your adventure begins with a pickup from your hotel at 10 am, where you will depart from Podgorica and embark on a journey through the scenic Zeta Plain. This captivating lowland region extends from the north at the capital to the southern shores of Lake Skadar.

After a 20-minute drive through picturesque landscapes, you will arrive at the Lake Skadar National Park. This exceptionally biodiverse area boasts 281 bird species and 50 mammal varieties, alongside the lake that lends its name to the park. From the Pavlova Strana viewpoint, prepare to be enchanted by the breathtaking fjord-like vistas!

The Zeta Plain is also renowned for another gem: it is home to some of Montenegro's finest wines! Your next destination is the Sofranac Winery, where you'll learn about the traditional production of brandy and various liqueurs that have been crafted in this region for generations. You'll have the chance to savor a selection of wines—six types—as well as nine liquor varieties and six brandy options. To complement this tasting experience, a traditional Montenegrin lunch known as meza will be served. Let’s explore this culinary delight!

Following the winery experience, you'll continue to nearby Barutana, where the Monument to the Fallen Soldiers of the First and Second World Wars awaits. Upon your return to Podgorica, take half an hour to wander through the city’s historical streets and squares.
