Tour Overview

Your adventure begins at Djúpivogur port, where we will embark on a road trip that showcases the stunning valleys and cascades found along the eastern shoreline of Iceland.

Our first destination is a valley brimming with waterfalls, leading us to Fossárdalur, a hidden gem in the region. Together, we will traverse the trails alongside the Foss River and take in the spectacular views. During this segment of the tour, you will witness two magnificent waterfalls in Fossárdalur and visit an abandoned farm, providing insights into the traditional lifestyle of the local inhabitants.

The journey will then lead us to Breiðdalsvík, a charming fishing village nestled within one of the eastern fjords. Here, you will admire the traditional Icelandic houses set against the dramatic mountain backdrop.

Next, we will venture to the unique black sandy beach of Meleyri, offering a striking contrast to the natural surroundings. Continuing along the Streiti Coast, you will be captivated by its steep cliffs and charming small waterfalls.

After approximately five hours exploring this remarkable part of Iceland, we will conclude our adventure and return to Djúpivogur, where we will bid farewell.
