Our journey begins in the heart of Doade at the appointed time, where we’ll board a tourist train set to reveal the breathtaking vistas of the Ribeira Sacra, a truly enchanting and picturesque region of Galicia.

As we traverse the rugged terrains of the Sil Canyon, an impressive gorge sculpted by the river over countless ages, we will take in the striking scenery. The route includes the renowned Amandi area, celebrated for its terraced vineyards steeped in Roman history. These ‘heroic’ vineyards, famed for their challenging slopes, present stunning views of the riverbanks and their continuous stepped terraces.

Continuing through this captivating Galician terrain, we’ll explore ancient vineyards while absorbing the natural splendor around us. Along the way, we will delve into the rich cultural and historical tapestry of the Ribeira Sacra. This area, noted for its monasteries and winemaking heritage, remains a concealed gem, having maintained its allure through the ages.

After experiencing an hour on the train, we will journey back to our original departure point to conclude the tour.
