Tour Overview

At the scheduled time, we will convene next to the statue of King John of Saxony in Theaterplatz, setting off on a delightful journey through Dresden’s festive heart.

Accompanied by our knowledgeable guide, we'll enter the Striezelmarkt, which has been celebrated for more than 600 years. Located in the picturesque Altmarkt square, this market showcases the essence of German heritage, featuring shimmering lights, the inviting aroma of mulled wine, and the charm of local artisanship.

As we wander through the stalls, we will encounter an array of delightful ornaments, including handcrafted items from the Ore Mountains, iconic Froebel stars, and the renowned Stollen, Dresden’s traditional cake of the season.

We will savor a glass of mulled wine as the lively sounds of music and carols uplift the ambiance, crafting a spellbinding experience for all.

Children will find joy in various activities, from a charming vintage carousel to engaging craft workshops, and even a visit from Father Christmas! Don’t miss the fabulous lighting of the giant Christmas tree, a true centerpiece of the market.
